    I would rate it a 8 of 10.

Most of the opinions you get are from people who have not actually driven the car. Maybe they should before passing judgement. As a current Juke owner (since November 2010) I can tell you that this car is as well designed and as well built as any car I've ever owned.

In the last 13 months I have driven over 42000 miles in this car and following the maintenance schedule I haven't had any major problems with it and the couple of minor squeaks were corrected with a quick stop at the dealer.

I can tell you that the reaction to this car from people on the street have been very positive. I have had people stop me to ask about the car and once I exited a clothing store to find 2 people taking pictures with it.

Although not a sport car, the 188 HP 1.6 liter Turbo DIG engine has plenty of power to impress most drivers and the AWD system is sophisticated and works very well at keeping this car on the road. 0-60 mph can be accomplished in a quick 7.5 seconds. Driving this car is the most fun I've had since I was 17.

Regarding the quality of Nissan. Prior to the Juke, I owned a 2004 Pathfinder which I finally retired after over 210,000 hard driving miles. I traded the truck in for purchase of the Juke and it may still be on the road somewhere, but I would attest to the quality of the vehicles. As a matter of fact I've owned 2 Toyota, 2 Nissan and 1 Isuzu and the Nissan were at par with the quality of the others.

Truth be told, don't take anyone else s opinion about it, test drive one and decide for yourself.

Nissan are the poor relation of the Japanese car industry and have not produced a good car for around 30 years, stay well clear, it's a cheap car not an inexpensive one, there is a difference.
