Can someone tell me what are the good and bad points about being a lorry driver as a job? I herd that HGV drivers in the UK get around 20k - 25k a year, I thought they got around 35k unless that is something else to do with lorry drivers. So what is a lorry drivers salary in the UK? Thanks.

I was riding my motorbike going about 40mph and I hit a stupid ditch (pothole) in the road and I came flying off, everything was fine apart from my knee, it was gashing. I didn't brake anything, my knee was just badly cut up. It has been about 2 years since that happened and on my knee, just under the knee cap area there is this big scarring tissue about 3cm wide, 2cm high and when I came off my bike the hole in my knee was about 1cm deep. This is the problem, I play a lot of rugby and obviously when you go to tackle someone, or when someone tackles you, you fall to the floor and slide against your knees. But that is a problem with me, because of this scar, it keeps opening and bleeding when I tackle or when I get tackled. So... Is there like, any way I can solve this scarring or can I get this special knee protector to help it? What should I do????

So, I know that football players that play for Celtic or Rangers etc, get a load of money, like quite a lot. And I was just wondering how much a lower ranked football club like: Hibernian, Hearts, St. Johnstone etc would get paid. Around £30k or so? Just a curious question.. thanks

I herd on the radio yesterday (9/1/12) that in 8 months time or something there will be a vote for Scotland to become a country of its own. Why are they doing this? The United Kingdom has been around for a long long time so why are they putting this vote up to try and make Scotland independent? This happens about twice every month, its usually when I wake up and go for a pee and my penis stings. It sometimes can happen when I come out the shower as well. I don't have any STDs I know that for sure. So why does this happen?
