Scratch on cell phone screen?
I have an LG touch screen phone and today I noticed a really small crack on it. It's about 1 cm long and when there is a white background it looks rainbow-colored.
I haven't sat on it or dropped it or anything. Also I have a screen protector and haven't put it in my pocket yet (it's new).
So my question is, what caused this scratch and how can I prevent more from happening in the future? Also, I just got this phone a few days ago, is it possible to get a replacement?
Thanks in advance. (I WILL be picking a best answer.)

Hitting the screen can break or damage it without destroying your screen protector. It could have happened when you were unaware or something. Or maybe it was already cracked before you got it. That happens sometimes. You can prevent that by preventing it from getting hit or falling. You can also get it a jelly case or a leather case if you really want it to last.

many things could have caused it but if you reeaaalllyyyy want it fixed, if you have insurance on the phone find a repair center for your service (sprint, at&t, etc) and they will replace the screen free! :) get a case for your phone too that protects the sides, so if it drops it will not crack
