Christian women, have you ever engaged in the shameful practice of speaking in church?

Women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. If you want to understand this passage properly, you have to start at the beginning of chapter 12. This is a message teaching against DISRUPTION, not conversation. The truly shameful practice is to take verses out of context and abuse them in an attempt to attack others.

that's only shameful if the female is disrupting. that's the two shameful whether that's a guy disrupting. in case you prefer to comprehend what Paul's message became relatively asserting, you're able to initiate interpreting in financial ruin 12 and proceed each and each of ways by using financial ruin 15. Then, you will possibly discover out that the unchanging message of the unchanging God is that individuals shouldn't disrupt church. the ladies of Corinth have been specially suggested interior the letter as a results of fact they have been the particular subject on the time. yet, the message is customary and applies to all. don't be blinded via the bigotry of people who might abuse those verses to attempt to denigrate females.

I believe in and go to a holiness church. Everything depends on the pastor and what he hears from God. The pastor of course is a man, but that does not mean women can not be useful in the church. Women are told to teach the younger women. But that does not mean women are incapable of preaching. God used Deborah to judge his people. (Judges 4:4) And if you look up the word prophetess in a bible concordance you'll see that God had several prophetesses(women he spoke through). It all depends on how close to God you want to get on how you end up being the exception in some cases. It is usually a prophetess that can be used to replace the man if God so deems it necessary, but if that be the case even the men of God will not be able to be against it (God will make sure of it). Thus, you would have to be a special case with God. But that is not as difficult as it seems..If you want to have favor in God's eyes, you must be obedient to God's word. Yes, keep quiet when need be, but do not be afraid to take the bible, read and memorize it for yourself, believe in it for yourself, and pray that God use you, and tell him it would please you to be be pleasing to him. God can not be pleased without your faith in him.

I don't know if you get what I'm talking about. But it would be require the initiative on your part, to have a relationship with him. You must ask before you can receive. Remember God always has a plan. And where you want to be in the plan all depends on you seeking his face.

This scripture was speaking of rules that were made up the Church in Corinth and Paul admonished the church for it.

Rather then cherry pickin' 2 verses, why don't you try reading it in CONTEXT? Try reading verses 36-40.
