How to stop iPhone using my 3G connection without me telling it to and costing me credit?
Okay so, when I'm not connected to a wifi network, my iPhone (4S if it makes a difference) is using my 3G/Phone connection and I'm on pay as you go so it costs me credit when it does this. I would like to still be able to go on the internet trough 3G but only when I really need to and at the moment, it uses it involuntary without me even opening up safari. Help?

If you go to Settings --> General --> Network --> Turn off mobile data and data roaming, that will stop the phone using the internet and you can keep this off when you don't want connection and turn it on when you do. If you have it turned off you can still use wifi without it using your credit.
