shy and lack of confidence same thing.....huh :O?
ok so one on my friend is not shy or at least i think that because she never hesitates to be around people or talk to them and she is very jolly and cheerful and always has the courage to talk to new people but she hesitates a little when it comes to performing something on stage or going infront of a large crowd and doing a speech i mean it doesnt mean she cant do it all she just hesitates and doesnt do things like that alot one of my other friend calls her shy but i dont think she's shy cause she never hesitates around people or stuff like that what do you think??? help I'm so confused

Stage fright, many confident jolly or whatever you call them don't have too much experience of talking infront of a huge crowd

Shy and lack of confidence are not same. That's pretty sure. She don't think she know to perform or doing a speech, so she don't want to make a fool of herself. That's it.
