Why do people think women are bad drivers?
I don't know if this is what everyone thinks, but it seems to be the stereotype that I hear all the time.
I'm asking because statistics say men get in more accidents then women; car insurance is even lower for women, the safer drivers.
And, personally, the worst drivers I've been in a car with have been men. My uncle went off the road just dialing a number, my cousin can't keep a constant speed... Granted, my aunt is a very fast driver, but she hasn't ever been in an accident. I actually feel safest with her.
I'm not trying to prove or anything, but I'm just confused as to where this stereotype comes from.
Everything everyone is saying is something I've seen male drivers do, too. Is it just easier to get angry at and notice women?
And luck? So all women everywhere are lucky? I'm sorry, but that doesn't make sense.
At those videos: Have you ever watched "World's Dumbest Drivers"? The last episode I saw, out of twenty terrible drivers, there were only three women. And those videos were made by people looking for bad women drivers, lol. It's too biased for my question.
And to be fair, AJ, men are in general better. It's why they rule the world, lol. It's biology; they're the dominate sex. Just... not with driving, I don't think.
"No, it is not biology. Grow up. Men ruled the world through programmed religious social control, and in many backward parts of the world they still do."
Exactly. They control. They're more ambitious and aggressive than women. It may seem backwards to you, but they're obviously dominate. I'm not saying this is true for every man and woman because there are submissive men out there and women CEOs. I'm saying that in general, men rise to the top. That's how it generally works in nature, too. Stop being a delusional feminazi. It's a man's world.

This is something put around by men in years before feminism when women started to want to own and drive their own cars for the first time. Women never drove them before because their salaries were just pocket money comparitively and they could not afford them Women as bad drivers was All myth and clearly proved by insurance statistics.
It seems every new frontier is policed by the No Girls Allowed Club. These days it is computer programming/ gaming. Sigh. When will our little soldiers ever take a break from their obsession with wanting to prove they are better?
EDIT: No, it is not biology. Grow up. Men ruled the world through programmed religious social control, and in many backward parts of the world they still do.

It comes from the fact that a disproportionately large number of women drivers are so bad at driving that they are not only a joke but a danger to themselves and other road users.
The reason why women have less accidents is because they spend less time behind the wheel.
