Then just wear jeans and a shirt or a dress but not a black funeral looking one. Just dress as if you're going to a semi-formal event.

I went to my nanas funeral not long ago and we didn't have to wear dark clothes but not bright clothing maybe wear a black lace dress with a cream flower on it? look at clothing websites eg bhs or boohoo.
If not a dress maybe jeans and a cute top and a jacket.

Don't wear jeans and tennis shoes.
Wear a nice pair of slacks and a sweater. Decent shoes.
Don't need to wear all black but don't wear a Hawaiian print either. Sometimes it's specified for everyone to wear red as that is the color the person liked. But unless something specific like that is mentioned - don't.
Wear something comfortable as it is bound to be a long day. But be respectful in your attire as well.

I positioned on black residences, stockings and a knee length loose installation black gown. A cream colored exact is alright to boot. regularly you gown darkish, i've got been to funerals the place human beings positioned on distinctive colors. i think of each little thing is okay as long as its a muted tone. no longer something too flashy the two, only user-friendly. And plus, if its a kinfolk funeral probability is you would be having a protracted day so which you extremely need to take convenience into attention! (no longer something too tight/itchy/sweaty. So sorry to your loss.

I was told not to wear morning clothes once by a sister and every one was in black, and I felt bad like it was disrespectful to the family. I would maybe double check with the sister what she wearing, or wear something black but attach a bright flower to your top.

Woman- dark dress pants, dress blouse, dark suit, or a nice dress you could wear to an office job
Man- dress pants or khaki, dress shirt Depending upon your socio-economic class- a suit coat & tie
A funeral is a "church event" so dress like you are going to a church service.

Just wear like a gray skirt or pants, and a white button down shirt. Add some color on it like a necklace or bracelet.
