My CD-ROM is installing tl D: drive?

I have a CD-ROM with an installer or driver or something. Anyway it won't install to the C: drive. It tries to install to the D: drive which obviously has no space by itself because its the D: drive. Any thoughts? Any answers are appreciates. Thanks.

Update:

Okay so to clear things up......I'm running Windows 7 64 Bit. I'm trying to use the install disk for the Avid MobilePre that comes with Pro Tools. It installs drivers, etc. and configures the MobilePre (a recorder that goes to Pro Tools (a recording and editing program)). It tells me that there's not enough space on the D: drive for it to install, but it's supposed to install on the C: drive right? Here's the screen shot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/73381604@N08/66165524...

Update 2:

AND I get no Installation Option. It just tries to install and pops up that error.

please explain what you are doing

    what operating system you have

whether you are speaking about a CDrom Drive or just a CDrom.

if you are installing a new drive into a pc case then you dont need any drivers

windows just adds it in automatically.

A CDrom drive driver is usually only supplied in the case that you have

a system that needs to BOOT to it such as a Linux install or a MSDOS

    boot up.

If you are installing an Old style Game, then the game may be assuming

that the CDrom drive will become the D: drive when you play the game.

anyway you need to explain a lot better than this question.
