Why do they send you on your way ?
It is very easy to Google : "Diet to prevent urinary infections". Maybe they are wondering why you haven't done this already ?
Does your mother have a proper diet ? Vitamin C boosts immunity - cranberry juice !

Why "have been to all hospitals in the city of calgary " ? Surely just seeing your own General Practitioner should suffice. If your GP was to see you and your mother on a regular basis then they would be able to surmise what is causing the problem and send you both to the appropriate specialists.
ADDITIONAL 7 HOURS LATER :
I have just been through you and your mothers Past Medical History (PMH), otherwise known as your past Q&A on Yahoo Answers.
Ok, so your mother has Alzheimer's disease and gets recurrent urinary tract infections. You, her son are her live- in carer. I notice that an appointment with your mothers Geriatrician is arranged for late January 2012. Yet you feel very concerned about your mothers repeated UTIs despite your dedication to her care.
People with Alzheimer's often get recurrent infections of various sites - chest, sinus, bladder etc. The nervous system which is not only responsible for thinking, is also responsible for keeping bodily organs healthy. As people get older their organs start to weaken/fail to some extent anyway. With progressive neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's, this organ weakening/failure is accelerated.
I'm afraid you just have to wait for that specialist appointment in late January. Repeatedly looking for answers on the internet will only make you anxious.
Carers need to be cared for too. You have taken a lot 'on your plate' and possibly neglected yourself in the meantime. Use your time on the net to do fun things for yourself, such as quizzes, games and answering questions on YA that are related to your personal interests, like pets or music. Make sure you get about 15 minutes of sunlight a day. I believe you live in Canada, I am not sure how cold it is there but get out for a walk each day to refresh yourself.
Is it possible for you to get a carer for your mum for a couple of hours each day ? You need some respite so that you can catch up on sleep and go out somewhere. Check this matter out with your local services.

Many older women, and men too I suppose will limit their fluid intake because of urgency problems. I have known many who do this and UTI if usually the result. It is imperative one hydrates, they forget by limiting their fluid intake, not only does their urine become concentrated and they get infections, all their body tissues shrink, including brain cells. At least 40 ounces of water in addition to anything else they drink is essential to maintain urinary tract health and adequate tissue hydration.

Like Pat said, green tea is good. Also, get cranberry and acai juice. Make sure that they are natural and have no preservatives. I would give her half of the juice with half of water. My grandson has utis right now and was taken to the hospital where they prescribed antibiotics. I also got him these juices.

usually rescued cats from breeders are considered one of two issues : feral from the finished loss of socialization from the breeder, or quite hungry for affection. If the breeder became right into a (sorry for the stereotype) "accepted" breeder, in many situations a majority of those anyone is interested in is money. Very infrequently do I come for the period of a breeder that cares for his or her animals. the undeniable fact which you have been held responsible neutering him and updating his vaccinations tells me the breeder did not do lots to socialise him; i'd desire to be incorrect, in spite of the undeniable fact that that is pointing me in that course. if it is the case, purely placed, he at one component became into enjoyed by human hands and then became into starved from it. He needs to be enjoyed, so love him. If the breeder became into an incredible one, he/she in all probability gave him a great number of love, so he's been raised to seek for it, that is not inevitably a undesirable situation. the two that, or you have have been given an extremely for sure friendy kitty on your hands. the two way, he'would be a great companion animal. I certainly have heard in the process the grapevine that unique cats (Himilayans, Devon Rex, Sphynx, Persians, etc.) have an inclination to be for sure extra socialized, yet there is not any scientific information of that. i think of it purely relies upon on the breeder and the situations wherein the kitten grew up in. additionally, if by PKD you recommend Polycystic Kidney ailment, it is often some thing that occurs with older cats. because of the fact you probably did not checklist the age of your cat, i will purely isist which you have your vet draw blood in case you hassle. stable success jointly with your new guy, and break him rotten!!! desire this helps! --touch me in case you need to any extent further questions!!
