You need to grasp the context of this passage. Paul was writing to immature Christians who were falling into divisions over human leaders, and who were tolerating gross immorality within their own congregation. He wrote to rebuke them - so Paul had judged them!

Verse 15 speaks of how mature Christians are being led by the Holy Spirit and they are spiritual people. This means that they are not subject to the judgments of unspiritual unbelievers. As verse 6 says, "We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory... but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit."

And, yes, Christians are to judge the world, as Paul goes on to say in chapter 6 verse 2. But don't forget James 4:11-12 where we are warned not to speak against our brothers and sisters, judging them to be law-breaking - for that violates the law of love. We are answerable to Christ; "But you - who are you to judge your neighbour?" This matter of judging is complex.

What Jesus is teaching right it is to no longer choose others while you're Committing an identical style of sin! Your existence and existence type are to verify up with God's notice and Warn them of the outcomes. it isn't any longer Judgment as in making a variety against human beings. you're offering human beings an selection by Informing them of What the notice says, so that they are able to Freely make a option to Reconcile themselves to God and Repent. .. Romans 2: 4-6. human beings make judgment calls each and all of the time to do some thing incorrect or striking and comprehend there are outcomes.

it says "he that is spiritual". that means that those christians who walk in the spirit of God will be the judges of the entire earth..yes. but not all who call themselves christians are really walking in the spirit of God. plus, all scripture must be read in balance with other scripture. scripture is written line upon line and must be understood by taking it precept upon precept...one verse gives balance to another. in john 7:24 Jesus told us this: "do not judge according to appearances, but judge righteous judgement". therefore it is our duty to learn what that means and to obey and judge accordingly.
