Electric Water Heater problems?
I`ve changed both elements but I still do`nt get a 240 volt reading on my volt meter all I get is 120 volts checking at the elements?
I will check to see the voltage at the breaker because each line into the water heater is only120 volts.It seems strange I`m getting the same problem out of two water heaters.

Do you get 240 at the point where voltage comes into the heater? Is one side of the dual breaker or fuse open? It sounds to me like you only have one side of two lines.
