How do you think Aric Almirola will perform in the #43 car?

Basically say whatever you want, but I'm curious as to how you think he'll do in the Daytona 500 in particular.

when he drove the #9 budweiser dodge for kasey kahne in 2010 he drove it pretty well. he is a lot better than some drivers out there... i wanna see more drivers like him racing! rathher than dave blaney and michael mcdowell who couldnt win a race in top-notch equipment!:(

Aric Almirola is pretty aggressive and can sustain a top 10 at a super speedway. After getting screwed over by DEI, hopefully Aric will run up front and do better than the 42 car, although I doubt he will be beating the #1 car, because i'm sure that's EGR's flagship

lets just say, i don't know if he will remain in the cup series for long. I think he is improving quite alot, but he still needs a lot more development before i think hes ready for full time in the cup series. He did run well in the #9 in 2010, but i think he still needs more experience first before jumping the gun with him.

I think it was a losing situation for RPM though, Allmendinger who was getting pretty good there, pretty much got thrown aside becuase Best Buy left the team. Had Best Buy stayed i imagine Allmendinger would still be there with the team.

It was probably a matter of sponsorship that Almirola got hired with RPM, like Paul Menard, he carries the menard sponsor to whatever team he goes to, Almirola i imagine had some link to sponsorship and since RPM needed a new sponsor for the #43 i imagine thats why Almirola got chosen over David Ragan.

I wouldve picked David Ragan over Almirola honestly, Ragan has more experience and has won and gotten poles in the cup series.

My answer to this question - I think RPM is going to regret hiring Almirola, hes a good driver but he still has much to learn before being a driver in the cup series.

For the most part,a middle of the pack racer. The Daytona 500 race can go to anybody who can stay out of trouble and be up front in the last 20 laps.

Not being cruel, but the Petty name is just riding on investors' money. Aric can do no better than the company does with the current technology. Petty is behind. Doubt they will ever catch up again. They are just there because that's all the Petty's have done since the early 50's is race.

I think Daytona and Talladega are the only races that he will have a chance at winning. He is going to need more time to develop as a driver before he is consistently in contention for wins.

I think he is going to do great in the #43. He will far exceed everything AJ did in that car. He will do just fine in the 500 barring he stays out of trouble.

If they have enough sponsors to give him a decent car, he will do pretty good I think. He gave the 8 car a pretty good ride at DEI and he was not full time. He ran a number of races for RPM last year, gave them decent finishes, after jumping in the car. Just hope that they can get good sponsors for him.

My constrained wisdom is that there is not a logistical clarification for 40 3 ... it has purely developed. sounds like it would be larger on the great speedways and decrease at short tracks.

struggle at first then really come on at the end and be in the top 18
