I have a nissan altima with a (vdc off-light on at times & at the same the slip light comes on also)?
both lights come on at the same when the car is moving ( VDC_OFF AND THE SLIP LIGHT ON ) if u park the car & start it up all lights in dash r out go down the road about a mile and the lights come on ,owners manual sayes a little about it but not enough 2 troubleshoot it , the tires are getting low but i don't see that being the problem ( my wife seeing it on the web that the tires could course the light 2 come on ) NEED HELP PLEASE , keep in mine all roads have been dry , and the tires have not been speening out , and no hard braking , all tires size are factory oem and brakes all so , nothing is broking or pulled loose . im a mechanic and i don't know .it is a 2010 year

Your car should still be in warranty. Anti Lock Brake System Vehicle Dynamic Control faults should be checked out at your Nissan Dealership. Something as simple as a brake light switch, steering angle sensor error or low brake fluid could cause those malfunction indicator lights. Not all auto mechanics can read and diagnosis ABS brake and VDC codes. Good Luck

VDC light and Brake light stays on most of the time on my 2010 Nissan Altima. I just had new tires put on, but this problem started before I got the new tires.

Hi , I have Nissan Armada, as you all I have the same vdc off & slip brake Error, (it came when changed the break bads, and due to this the 4x4 couldn t work , I tried every thing but this error stays , I took them to Nissan dealers but even they are unable to find the cause only computer show communication error , on internet there is no solution found yet, Nissan is very unserious to solve this issue , But 1 thing is sure , I am never again going to buy any japnies car again

The Altima's have had issues with the brake master cylinder leaking brake fluid into the brake booster causing the fluid level to be low and turning on the VCD and Slip lights. Check your brake fluid level. If it is low, top it off and drive it to see if the lights come back on. Also take it to your Nissan dealer and have them look at it as soon as posible. A weak battery can also cause these lights to come on.

I had the same problem and the solution was the steering angle senor error as I had before changed the steering system on my Nissan Teana and when professional mechanics were changing it they put it back in wrong way and the sensors were not able to detect the angle therefore, failed.
