How long should i leave it.?
My horse has been gelded for 2 weeks now and is healing nicely, no major complications (touch wood) I really need to move him because the barn he's at are being really awkward about him and are not behaving with his best interests in mind, how long can I leave it before moving him? He could hack over to the new yard, take about 2 hours? Or in a box about 10/15 minutes?

The incision should be just about healed by now so I don't think there would be a problem moving him. Trailering him would be my choice. Because he's been out of work for 2 weeks, he still might be a little sore and stiff. And a two hour walk is, in my opinion, too much.

Definately ask your vet. If you horse hasn't been trailered and it will take time to get him in, that may also not be an option, so you should consider that as well.

Check with your vet. I would van him. A two hour walk under tack might be a little much.
