Cute dog names to name my dog?
Okay well I had a little yorkie puppy who stayed with me for 2 1/2 years and her name was Lexi. She died last night of too much brain pressure because she jumped out of my lap and she hit her head. So her brain swelled and we got to the vet and the vet thought that her condition was caused by a bruising, so they didn't give her medicine for swelling. So she passed away last night.
My mom feels really bad for me so she's investing in getting another yorkie. We don't know what to name this one, though. It's a small female, about 3 pounds, and the owner said she doesn't have a name but she's been calling her Trinket. However, I wanted to name the next dog, "Lexa" in honor of my first dog. However, Trinket has a cute ring to it. What do you think?

Lexa
Chibi
Peanut
Have any other ideas? I'm willing to listen.

Instead of Lexa maybe something not as close? Sometimes, giving another dog the name or very much like that a of dog which has passed can make the human subconsciously compare the two.
Since all dogs are individual, I would certainly take another route. The other names you have listed are cute. Her original name is fine but I really don't care for it. *Trinket* seems to take something away from the dog.
Lexi and Lexa are very nice names. Why not go between the two and name her Alexis? Alex for short.

My dogs are called Cario and Eva
But other names like:

Chibi is cute because it's Japanese I would thing cherry because cherries are small and cute! I also like the name pochacco because I love hello kitty and pochacco is the doggy! Hope those helped!
