Can you see the gap between wealthy and working class widening?
Around 40 years ago a wealthy person was worth 10 times that of a working man. Now that gap has widened to hundreds of times more wealth. Investors want more return for their investment. That increase is usually at the cost of wages or even jobs for the working man. Wages are frozen or cut. Jobs are shipped abroad. Corporations increase profits by reducing costs. Foreign workers pay no income tax to the USA, but business deducts wages paid to foreign employees as operating expenses and pays less tax. Big business paying $20 per hour here can cut that in half by moving south. Save even more by going south to Mexico. But they can put those jobs in China and pay $5 per hour. And when that gets to be too much those jobs can go to Ethiopia where they'll work for a doughnut. Yet working class voters support the right wing politicians who are sponsored by big business. The same big business that is ruining the economy and sending jobs abroad. And the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. What's next, slavery?

What's next, hopefully fewer republicans in office so we will be able to climb out of the hole we are in presently.
Recessions left behind by the last two republican presidents and two uncalled for military actions have done a lot of damage to this country

Ok, so when you shop around and try to find a better price on food, gas, rent, etc. to maximize your net income, that is fine. But if a business does it, then suddenly it's the most evil thing in the world? Why are you allowed to try to cut expenses, but a business owner is not?
If you don't want to be paid crap wages for unskilled labor, then get a skill. If you don't like what your employer pays, then start your own business and become your own boss. If you don't like how Walmart operates, then shop elsewhere or open a store to compete with them and put them out of business.
If a "rich" man has 1,000,000 and increases that by 10%, that is a larger number number than a "poor" man that has 30,000 and increases it by 10%. But so what? If both are growing, and the rich man is not taking anything from the poor man, then what is the problem? Other than jealousy?
Everything you think you know is wrong or just plain ignorant of reality. As long as a "rich" man does not commit a crime (theft, murder, etc.) then stealing his money is just that: stealing.

Yes, the gap is widening. We will soon be like other countries with just rich and poor. The poor will be exploited and used to make the rich comfortable and richer. We have lost our sense of community among all income levels.

There is a gap because the Marxist Democrats led by Obama are leading a class warfare movement.
There did not used to be a gap in what Americans saw the role of government to be. Governments role was there to facilitate the prosperity of the nation, now since the Marxist Democrats gained the support of Hollywood, many see the role of government to be wealth redistribution- a concept that has never worked in human history.
