Is it bad to eat one big meal a day, I need to lose weight.?
I need to burn more calories than I consume and I'm busy so only really manage to do 300 in a day.
I eat a v. small breakfast. Fruit for lunch and then for dinner I have quite a big meal. Is that ok. Its really hard for me to eat healthy (not b'cause I don't like veggies and stuff, but because of my family and they way they eat. I'm only 15)
Has anyone lost a lot of weight and can help me, I'm desperate.
Also can anyone give me an example of what to have for breakfast lunch and dinner.

I really suggest you eat more moderately throughout the day. I don't know if you have heard the phrase that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but this is true. If you want to eat a big meal I would do it for breakfast. It will also help you focus more on school and such, so you can perform better as well. I suggest not eating a lot at every meal, but spacing your meals out. For example, eat breakfast. Then bring a bar or fruit or something to school and have a morning snack. This will keep your metabolism running. Then eat lunch. I don't know what time you get home from school, but then eat another snack such as fruit or a bar. Then eat dinner. After eating dinner it is okay to have a snack before you go to bed. If you are consuming 300 calories less per day that is good, but remember that it is about getting fit, not skinny because everyone has a different genetic code. Also if it helps, maybe you can challenge your family to do the same thing with you. If they don't want to, try to find a way to compromise with them. For example, let's say they like peanut butter, you can ask for apples or vegetable for yourself and eat that with peanut butter, or you could try a hand at cooking!

It is better to eat a larger meal in the morning and light meal in the evening. Have a protein based breakfast then something lighter for dinner and lunch. My grandmother always used to say; breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper. 300 is far too little calories even if you want to lose weight you still need to be eating around 1,500 calories or 500 less than you would consume on a normal day when you're not dieting, 300 is ridiculously low. I lost nearly 2 stone over the Summer mainly but cutting out carbs, would have cereal (Weetabix) and semi-skimmed milk in the morning then no carbs for the rest of the day mainly filled up on no fat cottage cheese, fish and meat and vegetables and fruits. Go steady and don't starve yourself, you'll only lose water and when you start to introduce carbs again you'll put all the initial weight loss on again. Good Luck :)

eating too little may already have put your body on a survival mode. If your not losing some weight already on that little food then you should be.
It does of course depend on how over weight you are.
Drinking ice cold water could help you a litre or so a day can help. stay away from soft drinks they may contain up to 10 tea spoons of sugar per can. I dont know how a 15 year old is so busy but you could go for a 30 min walk at lunch time, or walk home from school if it is not too far and safe.
Ask your mum to get more fresh vegetables for you. learn to cook your own dinner while she is doing the rest. Encourage everyone to eat more healthily. You should be starting with a substantial breakfast though to get your metabolism up and running for the day. A reasonable lunc akd a healthy evening meal.

You should go to http://thesgc.ca/ . They have 2 videos on weight loss, one for men and one for woman. I just started it 2 weeks ago and have lost 10 pounds so far. I started using it because my friend used it and lost over 97 pounds and he says that's where he went to make his new year's resolution last year. He looks very good now and has a few abs showing. Hopefully I can get to where he can to. Anyways good luck in your journey to lose weight I wish the best to both of us.

preferable to prepare sluggish to eat foods similar to scorching a pot of soup total fruites

You need 3 whole meals a day. Best thing to do is no snacking inbetween and alot of water&excersise

Your biggest meal should be breakfast, eat less before bed or your body will store your food as fat.

Tell your parents you want more fruits and grains because it's good for you and one day of over eating won't hurt but don't keep it up for two more straight days or more.
