How important is body work in finding the Axis Mundi?

I would say that finding the Axis Mundi goes and in hand with enlightenment.

I have heard it said that you can not do anything to find enlightenment because it is always there.

So is the Axis Mundi.

But If I was not training In traditional martial arts I would not be answering this question and I never even would of found out about the Axis Mundi as I did yesterday.... If I was not doing body work I would not even be answering this question.

I do believe there will be some people who stumble across it as if by accident - that is Kinda what I done, I began martial arts training not to look for anything, but because I have a sincere interest in it... my interest and love take me to the truth - that part I would say is more important than bodywork, and I think that is what the person who was saying you cannot do anything to find enlightenment was getting at - not to look for or be dragooned or otherwise manipulated down a specific way to enlightenment, because there isn't a specific way to what is already present - and to understand that 'trying to find' is a movement and can never relax. Through body work I have been coming to learn what disciplined relaxation is, which I think is also Important.
