How do I cope with this situation?

In my school there is the usual selection of people. The people who are smart, the people who are pretty/handsome, the people who are jocks, the people who are not particularly leaning towards any direction, and mixtures all of them. I fit in the smart group. Anyway there is this one kid in one of my classes who is different. To sum it up, he has no skills that are useful that I can see whatsoever. The problem is that we are partners in one of my classes. This normally wouldn't be a problem. In this situation I would tell the kid what to do and make it like we are working together to the kid and teacher. This however, is a special case. This kid THINKS he is the smartest thing sense Einstein. He questions and corrects what EVERYONE does in the room he is in (teachers included). He however, doesn't say anything that is actually correct. I simply cannot work with him (keep in mind that in this class, a large portion of the grade depends on how well you work on a team).

Am I making any sense?

So the two of you are alike. Do what all married men end up doing eventually. Drop your ego let the other person call the shots and keep quiet to keep the peace.
