Shawn Michaels is better.
No disrespect to The Rock, but Shawn Michaels is a far better performer than him. He's truly the most electrfiying performer of all time and the best storyteller in the ring. Just see how many 5 matches he has put in his legendary 25 years career. He's the true total package of wrestling, Wrestling God, and The Great One.

If you're talking about wrestling skills, Shawn Michaels is miles ahead of the rock. If you're talking about mic skills, Rock is better than Shawn, but not by a bunch.
Overall, I'd say Shawn Michaels has the slight edge, but that's just my opinion. in the end, who really is better depends on the unique opinion of the person in question.

Woah thats a hard one, i believe The Rock is better on the mic among other stuff, but Shawn Michaels is the best performer, its one of those matches i've always wanted to see but never happened

only one the legendary player has contributed the most in the wwe industry my no.1 of all time one and only the phenom UNDERTAKER thereafter the rock because he brought wwe the fame that none other did he worked his *** out unlike shawn michaels who was just a normal player apart from being in triple h shadow and having hitman to push his career forward only his match against the undertaker did brought him such fame if he never had a match against him no one might have missed him

Shawn Michaels, mic + wrestling skills. Don't get me wrong here, I love Rock but he's more of an entertainer than a wrestler so it's kinda hard to compare.
Thumbs down? lol you guys probably don't know shawn's wrestling history. I'd pick him over rock any day

I don't understand why the people who said Shawn Michaels got so many thumbs down. I mean, there is absolutely no one who can light a candle to HBK. While Rock was great, HBK beat him by a mile. Of course Rock has slightly better mic skills than HBK, but when you compare overall HBK is certainly better. So in other words I agree with you.

I'm a big Rock fan.. but I'll be neutral on this.. both of them are great athletes.. Shawn is better at the wrestling part.. and as great as Shawn is on the mic, there ain't nobody, AND I MEAN NOBODY, to beat The Great One on the mic.. he simply owns the mic.. :)
