If you have been told to package something, this generally means to just make sure you have all your resources in one place, like a folder.

for example, if you're using adobe illustrator, theres actually an option to package your work somewhere, possibly under File (i cant check right now, sorry, my copy isnt working)

the reason they do this is because when you place a photo or image into programs like illustrator, it creates a "link". The image you see in the file is not actually the image you places but the link, a high quality preview. (this is so the file is smaller and easier to work with before you export it)

If you move the file to another computer without moving the linked files, (the original photos etc), the preview remains, but when you go to print it cant source the original file and all it prints is the preview image. this means the quality it much much lower.

when you package things, make sure you have copies of fonts you used, all resources, the original file (psd, ai, indd) and probably an exported pdf :)
