Why is it people who are not Christians are constantly judging against what they THINK it is?

Kind of silly isn't it? They have no clue but feel free to lecture.

    Funny, in my experience christians are always the one who bible thump and lecture everyone else.

    You know, no one takes a hypocrite seriously.

    It is a bit funny.

    Check out R&S and look for the sneering atheists who chastise anyone who attempts to define "Christian" as a specific list of tenets.

    That's all well and good, but then they turn around and say "You Christians ....".

    If the very definition is up for debate, what logic is there in using it to describe a group of people?

    @AllieBoo - Anecdotal and , no, they don't.

    @AllieBoo - One of the #1 concerns that Christians have with themselves is a reluctance to share their faith. You must have quite a special niche there.

    Your post reminded me of an incident a few years back

    I was the lone yank in a sea of secular Brits one night at my watering hole they started in on me as I do go to Church from time to time ''we think any who believe in a god are fools'' there were few Muslims in the place I yelled out ''our you telling me Muslims are fools for believing in Islam?'' I now know how the Brits were the 1st to break the 4 min mile they even left the change for the wait staff unheard of for a brit

    I think it is safe to say that most Americans have a pretty good idea about what it says in the Bible. Don't forget that most non-religious people in the U.S. used to be Christians.

    Um the Christians I know are always trying to convert me and telling me I'm going to hell. Nice ain't it?

    Dreaded: I said the Christians I KNOW, as in personally. I didn't mean all Christians.

    Seems to be the practice of Christians or people who believe they are Christians too.
