No, just because you are a Christian does not make you pure. If anything, it's a lot of Christians or huge religious followers who cause the most trouble. If they think god wants them to kill certain people, then they will do it. I am not trying to offend Christians in any way, but don't assume atheists are hell bound just because they don't follow a religion.

You have it all wrong. The Bible specifically says we are saved by grace, through faith, and that not of our own, it is the gift of God, not by works lest any man should boast. Christians do good things BECAUSE they are save NOT TO GET SAVED. Jesus and Jesus alone without anything added to it offers complete salvation through faith in Him period.

There is absolutely NOTHING that ANYONE can EVER do to be "good enough" to stand before God on one's own merit. WE (humanity) have none, but born again believers have put our trust TOTALLY in the Son of God....Jesus....and what He has done for us on the cross.....through His precious blood... We don't have to PROVE anything to God. We know that He knows what we are, but He also know that we come to Him and receive His grace and mercy, because of what His Son has done for us on the cross..We are forgiven and are put into RIGHT-STANDING with God.
