Hey atheists what are your political views.?

As an atheist, my political positions are pretty much Libertarian in nature, with a few exceptions on certain issues which I won't go into detail about right now. I don't believe the current situation in the United States is a right/left issue as so many political pundits love to proclaim. I believe it is between Libertarians or people who believe in smaller government and authoritarians/progressives who believe bigger government. I would as willingly vote for a Libertarian leaning Democrat as I would a Libertarian leaning Republican.

I will be voting for Ron Paul, wither he wins the Republican nomination or not. If I have to vote third party or write him in, I will. Granted, we Ron Paul supporters could split the vote and get Obama elected for four more years but I say, so be it. I would rather have four more years of an authoritarian progressive Democrat like Obama to really wake the country up, than four years of an authoritarian progressive Republican who will put the country back to sleep with false promises. As for why I am ardently supporting Ron Paul, well I don't really think I need to explain, but I will. Have you ever noticed that when politicians are asked questions, the majority will not give clear yes or no answers? They all start out with an explanation of why they feel the way they do and never get around to saying absolutely yes or no on. They do this because in the event that they would like to flip flop on an issue, there is no footage that can incriminate them later on. Not Ron Paul. If asked a question, he clearly states yes or no and then goes on to explain why. Granted, this might seem like a little thing, but it speak volumes about a politician, at least to me. It shows that a candidate has strong beliefs and that he isn't willing compromise them depending on how the politically correct winds are blowing. Personally, I think Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate in the running with integrity and a voting record to prove that he will try to follow through on what he promises.

In the US, the great majority of atheists are aligned with the Democrat Party. Throughout history, both the Republican and Democrat parties adhered to the social behaviors that represented a normal society. But over the last 20 years, there has been a social break down of society and the Democrat Party has picked up on this segment of the population.

This is where the Democrats enforcement of "political correctness" comes into play. This means that the minority of people who are social outcasts will determine what the majority will say and do. And it becomes politically INcorrect to criticize someones actions or odd behaviors.

Hard to answer that since politics is very similar to religion. Also you didn't say what country you're in, so I'm guessing America because your comprehension of the outside world is minimal, and you have a foreign policy to match.

I am an atheist, and live in America. I always vote for Democrats and consider myself to be very liberal.

People's political views have nothing to do with their intelligence. and neither does religion, for that matter. They're just opinions, that's all.
