Sherlock- Love or loathe?

love it its british drama at its best

I love it, I think it is brilliant and the perfect TV show. I think the BBC do better crime thrillers than ITV, it's main rival, it has produced shows like Sherlock, Luther, Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes. Btw if you haven't seen any of these I highly recommend them, they like Sherlock are brilliant TV shows very similar to Sherlock

Well it's good. It's a fine piece of drama, there's no denying it. The characters are 3D, the writing and dialogue are excellent. Not my favourite crime series, though: compared to greater shows like Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, or the sci-fi/crime show Torchwood (back in the first three series), Sherlock seems far less worthy.

I love it. That's part of the reason why I love House, because he's based off of Sherlock It's a deep and interesting show with so many tricks and turns.

your right, great programme.Rread an article were they put it down for it`s modern look ie, nudity, the way he acts towards people. But they new when it was being made it had to get into the 21st Century. it works in my mind. But the real Sherlock Holmes would look dated. Just coming on now.
