Organic Cat food for Leopard Gecko?

I have organic canned cat food for my merauke blue tongue skink. (as only a part of his diet)

I was wondering if this can be fed to my Leopard Gecko in place of crickets, but still feeding him meal worms and vitamin supplements?

Update:

well my skink isnt a carnivore, the majority of a skinks diet is fruit and vegetables. . if its recommended as food for them (and i get the best quality food possible without fillers, by-products, etc) then i dont understand how it would be harmful to something else that doesnt really even eat plants.

although if its just the fact that its animal meat not insect meat then i understand.

    No.

Insectivorous is really not the same as carnivorous.

They have completely different nutritional value.

As a one off - if the gecko recognises it as food at all - it would likely give him an upset stomach and loose/smelly stool.

As a regular thing, the gecko would become ill and probably malnourished. They are simply not built to digest and process 'meat' and whatever other crap is in cat food...

NOT a part of their natural diet, not something that can easily be digested. NO benefits to the gecko... avoid it.

A leopard gecko is not a blue tongue skink, that's why. They have different dietary requirements. Just because a leo doesn't eat plants, doesn't mean that it eats chicken/duck/whatever.

Leopard Geckos will not eat dead food, and require they're food to be alive. (or at least moving) Besides, they are insectivores and the only red meat they should consume is the occasional pinky mouse.

Even if you try, he will refuse to eat it.

they couldn't because of the fruits and vegtables because they don't eat fruits and vegtables they ear crickets, If your saying that they eat the same thing as crickets thats like saying we eat the same thing as dogs or cats, kibble. Also if they did eat it they would most likely get sick because of the baby food ingredients that are put in to suport the babys dietary need.
