Libertarian vs. Egalitarian: Which Are You?

I am Libertarian and as for gay marriage, I believe it should be left to the heads of the different religious orders, seeing as how it is a religious establishment and the First Amendment specifically states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

If the different states want to issue contractual unions between people, regardless of sex or number of people involved in the union, it should do so through civil unions.

Closer to libertarian and I'm for anyone getting married that wants to and I'm against giving the goverment the power to determine who should get married and what name it should be called. Marriage is between 2 ppl and does not involve the government.

I'm a libertarian and believe homosexuality is a sin. If people want to behave in that disgusting manner, that's their business and they have every right to, just don't get the government involved.

I am a realist. plain and simple, and I always leave my label maker at the office.

Any two people who wish to share their lives, and love one another, and take care of each other, should have the right and freedom to do, if that is their wish.

No one label will ever cover everyone of that stripe.........and no gov't agency should ever have the power of trying to decide what is right or wrong when it comes to deciding who we love and who loves us in return.
