Industrial Bar Healing?
The industrial bar has been in since July 2011. The bumps are still there but as far as the healing process, is it possible to take the bar out by now and replace it with smaller earrings so it can heal faster by any chance?

i hope by earrings you mean two small barbells such as these..

that are the same size as your current industrial bar? if so then yes, that's fine, but it wont get rid of the bumps.
what i did to get rid of mine was.. i'd wash my ear in the shower with cetaphil (sort of like spectro jel). i'd apply it and slide the bar in and out. when i got out of the shower i'd soak my piercing in a hot water/sea salt mixture then rinse. then i'd put a chamomile tea bag in hot water then set it on each bump for five minutes each and then rinse.
i did this everyday and within a week the bumps were gone!
