In a way yes, in a way no. Tortoises, alligators and some birds go back to more than the Triassic era, meaning they've been around for years!!!!! When you mean dinosaurs, you are probably thinking of the T-Rex, broncasaurs, velociraptors, pterodactile, stegosaurus, and many more. Not a lot of people realize that the chicken is a direct decendand from the dinosaurs. So yes and no n___n

Except for maniraptoran coelurosaurs of the clade aves, yes. Alligators, crocodiles, sharks, tortoises, and other novel suggestions are not dinosaurs in any sense of the word, though.

    Hi

they don't actually exist but evolution sees there descendants every day in birds, sharks, crocodiles, alligators, snakes so you see they have generally died out but they have evolved.
