How to transition to crib?

Most parents ask how to transition from bed to crib, well, my 3 mo old sleeps in his carrier. He WON'T sleep in his crib because there's nothing fluffy or warm to bundle up in, I'm scared of suffocating him. I know how to swaddle him, but he wiggles right out of the swaddle and gets uncomfortable. I thought I could transition him now cause he rolls now, but I read articles that say no pillows under age 2, no blankets under 1???????? So my son has to sleep in his carrier a year???? I don't think so lol.....how do you moms make the crib cozy yet safe?

I used a sleep sac. You can get them in all different sizes! They don't have arms, so they are safe :)

Sleeping in a car seat is quite dangerous. The position for baby in a carrier for long terms can reduce his oxygen levels. He has started the habit of sleeping in the carrier, and now time to break him from this dangerous habit. Try sleep sacks.

honestly my son has always had blanket in his crib. I always tucked big blankets under the actual mattress and tucked him right in. He loves lots of blankets. if your worried about no pillow put a soft blanket under his head. My son only sleeps like that. If you want put him ontop of your chest and fall asleep. As long as your not a rough sleeper he should be just fine. hope this helps some
