*For those who bother reading, my personal opinion*
Ok so i used to be a hardcore n00b-pwning 1337 COD gamer, but i've grown apart from it. i feel like COD is childish and a game for 13 year old brats with a high pitched voice thinking they know everything about warfare because they know every gun and attachment in MW3/Black Ops/whatever.
I've retired from the online gaming community, and moved on to games with more storyline. Recently i've been LOVING Uncharted, i've bought all 3 of them and i just finished the first one tonight :D The reason why i love Uncharted is because it's based around historic facts, and seeing how im very interested (and one day going to study and work with when I'm old enough) in history, philosophy, mysticism, litteratur and everything in the vicinity of those academics, Uncharted is perfect for me, so im placing it on the top of my list. Here is my list:
1. The Uncharted Series
2. The Need For Speed Series
3. The Assassins Creed Series
4. MW2, i just have to put it here even though i don't play it anymore, but it was so awesome when i played it.
Oh yeah, in case i could get back into online gaming, what FPS's are good besides MW3 and the other cods? i've heard good things about BF3.
@ Family guy
Dude, you have enough games to fill up a hookers pussy, so just stfu with your pathetic attempts at seeming hardcore and "cool" before you embarrass yourself. Oh, and no need in typing back to me with your fat fingers, i won't reply. I just really don't want to sink to the level of retardedness that online arguing is.
A great man once said:
"Arguing online is just like the special olympics: Even if you win you're still retarded".
btw, just wanted to point out that your argument made no sense. "Grow a pair", you usually say that when someone says something that may make them seem less brave. So yeah, another piece of evidence that you sir, is a retarded 13 year old with the voice of a girl.
EDIT: yeah i have CSS but i really just can't stand PC gaming, not trying to hate on the PC but ir's really not my preferred gaming station ;)

the Kingdom Under Fire series. You pick a general and pick several platoons of troops to command. The troops classes vary from Knights, to Archers, Cavalry, and some fantasy units like Golems and "Swamp Mammoths." You then take to the battlefield and command your troops on the battlefield telling them where to go and what to do. You can command your archers to bombard an arrow with flaming arrows causing the whole area to become engulfed in flames. Paladins had healing abilities and buffs and stuff like that. When you engaged an enemy while controlling your general's unit you get to play as your general and smash some skulls in to the sound of a thrash metal soundtrack. The game is pretty epic. Check out the trailer for the new game coming out, it is super epic.

Well, there's a few games I've taken quite a liking to over the past years. I really like Age of Mythology a strategy game, the Guild Wars MMO franchise is also fantastic as well as Far Cry and Far Cry 2 both being great, despite being made by totally different companies. If you're looking for a good online FPS, I'd highly recommend Counter Strike: Source it's probably the best one around and it has a squel coming out soon Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

My favourite game of all time is Bioshock. Everyone who calls themselves a gamer needs to play Bioshock. It is the best First Person shooter ever made in my opinion. It is only singleplayer though, but has one of the best stories I have ever played in a game.
It is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox360. The PS3 version is the superior version because of the exclusive Survivor mode and exclusive DLC, but all versions are pretty much the same other than that.

Probably my favorite games are Persona 3 and Persona 4. I‘d really recommend them if you want more of a storyline. There‘s also the Walking Dead games, The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite (Bioshock games in general), and Beyond: Two Souls. Ib and Mad Father are two really good indie games, if you want to try those out.
