How come they never featured the Mirror Universe on Star Trek: Voyager?

They wrapped up Voyager's plotlines in a real hurry when the series got cancelled. A Mirror Universe story might have been planned and never came to fruition.

But seeing as how the Mirror universe stories all featured an "evil" version of the Federation, a mirror story was probably not feasible. If you remember, Voyager got flung halfway across the galaxy, where no federation outposts existed. What point would there have been to write a story about a plot element that hardly existed for those characters and their situation?

Probably because that would be a hard story to write... an evil crew & ship lost on the far side of the galaxy, where it's already evil & cruel...?

Because star trek is made by a race similar to dogs. ta da !!

There were none in The Next Generation either.
