What's the weirdest place you've caught a nice fish at?
I've saw some very nice sized Channel Cats (20-inches or so, say 6 or 7lbs) caught in a very highly fished area, next to a dock. Caught regular as well. Was pretty interesting, caught quite a few keeper/nearly keeper Bass as well.
I caught a 15" Carp in an EXTREMELY small creek (width wise, probably 8 or 9' deep but 5' across, very weirdly made) and had another break me off that was larger. Thoughts?

I have so many because those "weird spots" hold the biggest of the big.
Hmmmm I would say that the absolute weirdest spot would be one of my secret spots in the woods sorta not really. You pull down a small street and walk through some high grass then you see a house that actually owns the lake. They don't actually fish in it wich is great for me I think they just catch the cats because I did see sand spikes back there a couple times. So anyway this lake has your first side wich will produce you fish sometimes and in the summer it's really amazing. Right at about 7 50 ish? I forgot when it gets dark in summer anyway right as the sun sets the first little fish will break the surface and then the next and then the big mailukers come out. It's really something cool it's almost like A show you see the little baitfish flying out to avoid the bass and it sounds almost like rain. Then about 4-5 minuets after the sun sets it all stops. The reason I've noticed why this actually happens is because this water barley moves so it gets almost like a hot tub since its such a tiny little pond the fish always stay on the deep side untill before dark when it cools down and those shiny minnows can be seen. Im gonna video it once summer/spring comes and put it on YouTube or flicker.
Ok now the deep side. The deeper side has a little fence blocking the lake but animals tore it out of the ground I'm guessing idk maybe a person. So this lake on the deep side is a fly fishermens haven. There's this one open spot shaded by other trees and I just can't describe it. Once again another flicker pick. Anyway I've caught tons of fish out of there it's just this year nothing cause of pochers who found it. Caught tons of plastic bags and beer cans.
Also this lake was a potatoe farm in the 80s so when it was man made it was made for fishermen tons of sunken cans and stuff.
As for smallest place I caught a fish well just go on flikr .com and search fishermen Andee

Theres a really dirty looking canal near me thats about 12 feet wide and you can't see more than 3 inches into the water, however it is a great place to fish for bass and carp.
