Do I need to send my SAT scores?

I'm a junior and I'm taking the SAT for the first time in two weeks. I got a notification email from College Board prompting me to have my scores sent to schools or scholarship programs. Should I even bother with this, since I'm only in 11th grade? Or should I go ahead and send it to a couple schools I'm interested in, since I can send four for free? Thanks!!

Update:

Okay, but what if this ends up being the last time I take the test? Will I just have to pay to have my scores sent? I'd like to take advantage of this opportunity now if possible

I wouldn't because this is your first time and if you do poorly and send those scores, then those scores may factor into your admission later down the line. Unless you think that you can get the score that you want on this first try, chances are that like most other students, you'll wind up taking the SAT again and will probably get a better score, in which case you may not need to send this first test depending on what the schools' policies regarding test scores are.
