Help! Does Zeltiq Coolsculpting have any competition?
Are there any other machines or procedures, that "freeze fat" other than the Zeltiq Cool Sculpting machine? I would love to have the procedure, but it seems they have no competition. So, companies can charge extremely high prices to have it done, and the cost vary widely. I would love to know of "any" company/Doctors office that has a competitive fat freezing device or procedure. Thanks in advance for all answers ;)

Hi there. I had vaser shape last year and from my research and experience, it provides much faster results and is painless. Since there were so many zeltiqs out there, I remember their pricing being a little lower but I didn't care as I wanted immediate results and not the potential for a 3 month bruise. Hope this helps!
Radio frequency devices like Exilis ( which is the most popular choice in Europe) are FDA approved for fat loss. You have to realize if you freeze your fat you will have more loose skin. If you melt your fat the side effect will be smoother tighter skin and it takes less time. In fact if you read the doctors magazine MedEsthetics the top doctors offer a Thermage or Exilis after the Coolsculpting to get rid of the loose skin. Why would anyone choose a treatment that at best takes longer and requires another treatment to fix a new problem it creates ? I would also check out Vanquish another radio frequency device although I only have personally witnessed results from Exilis

They have lots of competition. Solaris is one. They are running out of money. Beware. They have some real problems coming with a recent ruling by the FDA.

Never heard of it but it sounds like a con to me. If you freeze fat it's still there and your body won't like it either.
There is only one way to lose fat and that is work it off. Eat fewer calories than you burn off, excercise every day, Exchange whole milk for semi skimmed, fizzy drinks for fruit juice (70% juice 30% water is a nice mix), have a couple of slices of apple instead of a handfull of biscuits etc.
