Which monitor should i buy?

money isn't a problem, here are my top 3 choices,

ASUS VG278H 27IN 1080p 2MS 120HZ

Samsung SyncMaster LS27A850DS 27IN Widescreen LED Pls LCD Monitor 2560X1440

DellTM UltraSharpTM U3011 30" 2560X1600

i don't really care about 3D, but the better resolution monitors only have 60Hz and 5ms instead of 120Hz and 2ms. i would rather have the higher resolution but i don't want to run into streaking problems. also this will for gaming only, not much movies and some video editing. Thanks! if there are other monitors you guys have in mind it would be awesome if you could share them, but no smaller than 27"

Update:

just so you know this is for PC gaming, not console gaming, so i don't want big bulky 32" tv sitting on my desk

    Hello,

Personally I like using the Vizio HDTV's using HDMI. Which also works well with a PS3 or 360 depending on user preferences.

My last was a 37" Vizio which worker great in first person shooters since you can easily pick up movement. For example someone trying to crawl up through some bushes, or you have to make a long range shot.

Is it a liquid crystal demonstrate? despite if it truly is i might pass forward and get it, as long because it is not over a 300 and sixty 5 days previous. the anticipated lifespan for any liquid crystal demonstrate demonstrate screen is purely 18months to 3 years. Scott alongside with different smaller agencies truly do no longer make any of there video demonstrate gadgets they simply oem yet another compainies, probability is it truly is truly a Samsung.

Dell make very good monitors that would be my first choice. Samsung would be my second and then the ASUS. 27" for gaming?

I would go for 24" max. Too high and older games will look poor. I suggest you get two 24" monitors.

If you play fps games and want to be good, I wouldn't go any bigger than 24" and even that is pushing it. Big screens are great, but they are too big to see the whole screen easily. If you just want huge awesome eycandy, the 30" is certainly the way to go.
