Ho to make Quaker oatmeal less mushy?

How do I make a little crunch, with the same flavor? It's the brown sugar instant packet.

Honey, oatmeal is never crunchy unless you add something crunchy to it. While this is not something normal people do, you might want to add some dry cereal or granola to it after it has been cooked.

And stop using those packets, they are a waste of paper and have a lot of added sugar that you don't need

Packet instant oatmeal doesnt have enough whole oat to have crunch add some granola or nuts or use old fashioned rolled oats

Unfortunately, the instant kind has been refined so much it's going to be mushy, but you might consider adding some chopped apple and chopped walnuts to add a little crunch.

For each batch of oatmeal, combine 2/3 cup quick-cooking oats with 1 to 2 tablespoons of mix; add boiling water until desired consistency is reached."

Don't use instant. Use the old fashioned.
