Looking for a book title!?

I read this a few years back, and I think I remember most of it. It was about a girl (present day) that came from Native American roots. She had a white streak in her hair, and I think either her grandma or her aunt had the same. I think her name was Anges or Angel or something, and she could communicate with the spirit world...I think she entered into some sort of ritual and "flashed' back to the past.

While in the past, she learns about the live of a young girl who was cast out from her home for being a witch. I think her name was Mary, and I sorta remember something about a quilt....anywho, she met up with a young Native American boy and his grandfather who took her in. The two kids fell in love, and later settled down togethor in a settlement. I think the boy's name was Bluebird or something! Anywho, I think Mary gets kidnapped by some white people who thinks that she doesn't belong with the Native Americans and eventually Bluebird gets killed.

I think in the very end of the book she settles with a new tribe, and eventually Anges (or whoever) snaps back outta the past and into the future.
