So trying to remember this movie I saw a couple years back on Netflix.

It was about a young Asian guy who fell in love with this girl. She got drafted to go to the palace and he was drafted for the army or palace guard. I remember him being forcibly castrated on the screen (ew?!) And they had to meet in secret.

Cue in bad guy who wants the leading lady for himself, a weak Emperor who just wants to party and general shenanigans.

The ending was her riding off a cliff with her lover's lifeless body rather than be the bad guy's bride and or concubine.

So I read this book a few years back and I'd like to read it again. It was a Viking (or Norse) romance novel with a picture of a Viking on the cover wearing little clothing. I think the heroine's name was Melissade or something simliar and she was the king's only daughter. When her father passed away she was still too young to take over, so her advisor urged her to marry the Viking. The Viking came just at the right moment as there was a battle being fought at the castle. He swooped in and saved everyone but the king's daughter ran off into the woods. She ended up meeting one of the bad guys, but the Viking saved her. She heartily disliked him, and I think he may have gone home for a bit. Then I think that she got kidnapped and the Viking saved her and they fell in love! He might have brought her to meet his family but I'm not sure. Anyone reconigze this story??

I read this a few years back, and I think I remember most of it. It was about a girl (present day) that came from Native American roots. She had a white streak in her hair, and I think either her grandma or her aunt had the same. I think her name was Anges or Angel or something, and she could communicate with the spirit world...I think she entered into some sort of ritual and "flashed' back to the past.

While in the past, she learns about the live of a young girl who was cast out from her home for being a witch. I think her name was Mary, and I sorta remember something about a quilt....anywho, she met up with a young Native American boy and his grandfather who took her in. The two kids fell in love, and later settled down togethor in a settlement. I think the boy's name was Bluebird or something! Anywho, I think Mary gets kidnapped by some white people who thinks that she doesn't belong with the Native Americans and eventually Bluebird gets killed.

I think in the very end of the book she settles with a new tribe, and eventually Anges (or whoever) snaps back outta the past and into the future.

This past summer, a friend of mine told me she was getting married. The date was set in December and I gave her my address to send me an invite and told her to let me know if there was anything I could do to help. So December rolls around, and I see that she posted on her Facebook that they were moving to wedding to January because her soon to be husband was in Iraq and his unit was needed a little longer there. I messaged her a couple times asking for an invite, and she never answered back. So two days before the wedding she texts me and says,

"So I just realized that I forgot to send you an invite!!!"

And asks me if I can still make it! By this time, I was already scheduled to work and there was NO way I could get it off. So I missed her wedding, and a few days later she texted me. She was angry because I didn't attend! She told me I was a bad friend and all this mumbo jumbo. If I was such an important guest, shouldn't she have remembered to send an invite my way sometime earlier than two days before the event? Does she even have a right to be mad? Help please!

I've tried checking on Ed Hardy's site but the hoodie isn't listed on there. Is there somewhere I could find this? I've tried Googling it multiple times in several different wordings but no luck. Looking for a few new book titles to add to my collection. I'm a withered old lady turning 20 years old soon enough. I loved the Hunger Games, the Breeds Series by Lora Leigh, The Sea Fever by Virginia Kantra and The Fairy Godmother and the Black Swan by Mercede's Lackey. No history, non fiction, or bodice rippers please. I do not mind steamy romances but there is an anti Twilight barrier around my library. I have also read the Rebel Angels series (which was okayish) and my only other request is no "classical" novels like Catcher in the Rye. Any suggestions?

It was a young adult novel. There was a girl that was being picked on by her older sibling...then she went and got a toy horse (black with wings) and when she fell asleep holding it she was transported to another world. From what I remember the world was divided by the signs of the Zodiac and everyone belonged to one of the groups and there was "neutral ground" of the Sun and the Moon in the plaza. I think everyone spoke Italian in the other world and I think the girl was from England. There was a kindly shopkeeper...and her older sibling broke the horses wings....There was also a crippled child and a foal was born with wings and someone stole it I think. Oh, and the main characters where from the group of the Rams! I think they brought the child back to England to fix his legs too...can anyone help me with this title? Thanks!

So I received this fruit dip from a friend of mine, but I need a bit of help! Her list of ingredients is as follows:

1 package of vanilla pudding

3-4 cups of Kahlua

1 thing of Cool Whip

So my question is, what size package of pudding? And do you use the regular flavor of Kahlua, or something like the French Vanilla? Is it something you need to prep the night before, or do up an hour ahead of time? And lastly, I've been seeing some different recipes that say to add milk to thin it up....is it necessary?

A few weeks back, I found a "lucky cat" figurine online, and it was two of them holding a heart between them. I thought it was so cute, so I purchased one for myself (and my finance!) Now I have a close friend of mine getting married soon, and I know that it'd be both a meaningful as well as memorable wedding gift for the two of them. Question is, can I give it to them knowing that I have an identical one in my home? Neither of them have seen it, so no one would know, but is too odd?

I've searched several guides so far, but they all come up with the same answer, and I can't figure it out! I'm looking to get to the forest, but Gannon doesn't have the "build-this-bridge" option open for me, and I'm not sure which island to use the Sun Stones I have to get the forest! I have the Mystic Islands, the Mushroom Islands, the Wild Animals ones, and thats it...which one can I get to the church on???

After seeing everyone else having problems with this, I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one. My story is a bit different though. I HAVE tried downloading the .NET Framework, with several different versions. I started all the way back to 1.1, and when I got to 2.0 it said that I already had it in there. So I downloaded and updated it all the way to 3.0, and the Sims3 still won't work! It says that I still have to download the 2.0.50727 one, when I've already done that and beyond! It tells me that it's missing a file in there, but when I try to re in stall the .NET framework, it won't add that file back in there. Is there anything I can do?

So I'm looking to download my Sims3, but it keeps saying that I have to download a .NET thing, which is v2.0.50727! I tried looking on Microsoft's website, but everything is so confusing on there? x86? x64? What in the world? Can someone please tell me which one I need to download? Thank you!

I recently purchased the Sims3, and it said that I had to download/update the game manager. Alright, I did that. So now it's saying that I have to download something about a .NET framework?

The .NET framework it says that I'm to download is v2.0.50727, and the same message pops up when I try to open the downloader. Help please?

I had a hand made canvas feeling (there was no specific material listed) and I left it under some flowers I had on the table. When I woke up the next morning, there was pollen on the outside/inside of the bag! Having a moment, I wet a rag and attempted to wipe the pollen off. No surprise it left a stain! Busy with work/school/life, I never got around to even thinking about washing it until about a week after the wet rag incident. No one else had the chance to wash it, since it was in my keeping the entire time. Curious enough, when I went to go wash it, I couldn't even find a trace of the stain! Can anyone explain why this happened?

Hey, just a bit new to this whole "fondue" idea, so just in need in a bit of instruction! For the chocolate part, what chocolate works best? Am I able to use Almond Bark (used for similar purposes, but I think that it would harden...) And what is does oil have to do with anything? Help, please!

I'm looking for the name of a particular legend; I've nicknamed it Maiden Rock, for lack of a better title. It's about a pair of lovers and the male goes out to sea and the lady stands on a outcropping of land waiting for him to return...and eventually turns to stone. Has anyone heard of this legend and can tell me more about it? Thanks!

So my boyfriend inherited this phone from his older brother, and I'll admit that it's not anywhere close to being new. But recently, it won't let him receive texts! It's temper-mental; some days it'll let him get texts, and most days it won't. And it's not just coming from my phone, as no one can text him! Also, it'll delete them as soon as he gets them in; any call logged will be deleted too. Any help here?
