Looking for this book?

So I read this book a few years back and I'd like to read it again. It was a Viking (or Norse) romance novel with a picture of a Viking on the cover wearing little clothing. I think the heroine's name was Melissade or something simliar and she was the king's only daughter. When her father passed away she was still too young to take over, so her advisor urged her to marry the Viking. The Viking came just at the right moment as there was a battle being fought at the castle. He swooped in and saved everyone but the king's daughter ran off into the woods. She ended up meeting one of the bad guys, but the Viking saved her. She heartily disliked him, and I think he may have gone home for a bit. Then I think that she got kidnapped and the Viking saved her and they fell in love! He might have brought her to meet his family but I'm not sure. Anyone reconigze this story??
