Good question.
Me thinks that the public, especially the Middle roaders and the Independants, those that are NOT as award of the culture war going on in America, still watch the alphabet Lib news networks, and need exposure to the Republican candidates too! not just the Leftist diatribes of the in-the-tank Obamabots.

It is a nice test to see who is strong-willed enough and has the critical thinking skills necessary to put the hosts in their place. We have seen the best of the candidates do this time and again - Romney and Gingrich, most notably. As far as I'm concerned, I think the ability to push back the rhetoric and act fast on one's feet to be one of the most valuable character traits of any president. What's nice about these tow candidates is that they do so with frank intelligence, as opposed to getting defensive and mouthy the way dems are so likely to do.
Hucklebee's debate was by far the most revealing, the fairest and the most informative to date. If you missed it, you can watch it here -

OK, I get religious for just a sec. Being it's the only comparison I know of....When presenting the Gospel of Salvation, it does little good to preach only to the choir. You are obligated to spread the good news to the lost. Because the Word is especially for them.
Ergo......One is obligated to spread the Light of Liberty among the Lost. Those who revel in that darkness as if it were Light. Lies spread faster than truth. The only counter is to use that same media to show America what is truth. To not allow the Liberals and media to have exclusive access to America's eyes and ears.
It is how Reagan spread his good cheer and his platform to America. He went before the media and did not simply hide behind the Oval Office. He needed something done? He went before us and spelled it out.

You advise bill and Hillary Clinton's good chum Murdoch? ...You advise an identical Rupert Murdoch that have been given bill Clinton to sign the Telecommunications Act of 1996....you comprehend, the act that reversed many years of media oversight and allowed for the formations of immediately's mega-media firms...? Gee, I dunno...why do not you ask the Clintons?

They're not afraid, like the Democrats were in 2008. They have the maturity to defend their principles against the most biased of "journalists", like Steppinawfulstuff. Too bad the Democrats can't or won't.

Because the RNC decided not to host the debates

Free air time.
I realize you prefer half minute sound bites, paid for by billionaires, but most people like to actually watch their candidates in an unscripted debate of ideas.
The real question is why there aren't nightly debates.

They do expose the leftist journalists for their bias, don't they? Stephanopoulos is a professional political operative posing as a journalist.

Republicans are almost as evil as Democrats. They get rich off Washington DC.
