what is the best soundcard for windows 7 for movies assuming i am going to plug it into an A/V reciever?

i am running windows media center to watch tv/movies on <using a ceton cable card>

i would like to get full dolby out of the system which my sounds system is capable of but am finding out that very few sound cards out there output dolby other than to the built in front/back jacks...

to get dolby to the stereo system what is the best bang for the buck on soundcards

i only need dolby 3.1 but plan on upgrading and wil end up needing 5.1 eventually

I use the Soundblaster x-fi champion series. It's an awesome card and has dolby and dts. I run an optical cable to my receiver and it sounds pretty good for music, movies, and gaming.

I have had this card for 2 1/2 years now and never a problem.
