Guinea pig always pees when on the floor for long periods of time?
Its really annoying I try to give them floor time and then they hold it for a while and then 15 minutes later they just go non-stop and i have to clean up. It's really been shortening their floor time lately...
I got them like a litter training thing but they use it as a bed...
Also, anything i can do to make their already small cage more interesting
they always fight and seem bored...
I know what cages to buy but dont know where they would fit
i live in like the LA area would it be better if they had a hutch but were outside
their cage is tiny...
Ok I get the floor time thing but wtabout the cage situation
hutch or no??
and interesting toys????

Go to my You Tube site and view How I potty Train,
http://www.youtube.com/user/GuineaPigPersonals
In this video I show you how to potty train your guinea pigs and it is quite easy, after they have it mastered you can use in on the floor or any place you wish, just make sure they know where it is. By the way unless you take the time to train them otherwise 15 minutes is the normal amount of time a guinea pig can hold their urine and poo. It is very easy to train them to hold it up to 2 to 3 hours it just take a bit of time and patience. If you really want to do it view the Towel Trick and wrap your guinea pig in a towel and hold it while you do your day, you will need to learn how it is telling you it needs to go potty and put it back in the cage when it needs to go but what happens is the guinea pig will start to hold it longer and longer, as my Miya did, she was up to 2 to 3 hours in 2 weeks of training.

They need space, order online. Check eBay and amazon. Inside or out makes no difference they need space. Try putting soiled bedding_ bedding with wee and poo in litter tray so they get a just of smell.
They are prob peeing because they have been out for a quarter of an hour, and theyv had time to relax. put them back after ten min for a moment or two then let them 9bacik out,
Het them a bigger hitched they shouldn't be fighting.

Alright.. Guinea pigs can't hold in their pee or poop like other pets.. When they have to go, they gotta go. Best to just deal with it, like a puppy, they'll learn. Mine did. I just put her in her cage right after she was done, and left her be, now she can be on the floor for 2 hours, and she starts to nibble my shirt when she has to go. For the boredom tut like tubes in their cages with treats in them, I got mine a HUGE cardboard tube with hay in it, and it kept her entertained. Timothy hay of course. Idk what to do about the cage though... Sorry

Lol they sound super cute! I don't think there's much you can do to help understand that they shouldn't pee on the floor. My guinea pig and he'd always poop on the floor.
