Travel from Siem Reap to Nha Trang?

Can anyone speak on the fastest way to travel between Siem Reap and Nha Trang ( http://www.nhatrangbeachshow.com/ ) ? Is there a direct bus of sorts or would we have to go through Phenom Penh>Saigon>Nha Trang? Approximately how long would the trip take?

We only have a 9 day itinerary, so we are trying to minimize the amount of unnecessary travel time. Our budget isn't too tight, so any option is open.

So far our itinerary looks like this, if anyone has any suggestions or better ideas please let me know:

Day 1: Bangkok

Day 2: Ko Samet

Day 3: Ko Samet

Day 4: Siem Reap

Day 5: Siem Reap

Day 6: Nha Trang

Day 7: Nha Trang

Day 8: Nha Trang

Day 9: Saigon

Thanks!

The flight from SR to PP is one hour faster than the bus? And another six hours from PP to SR? Say it ain't so. Or else tell me they fly via Bangkok.

It took me 4 hours to get from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. Trust me, it will be at least 6-8 hrs from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh alone. If you want to travel fast, take a flight. If you want to see the sights, then cross your fingers that the bus trip goes quickly. But yes, there are plenty of bus routes through Cambodia and they come pretty frequently. I don't know if any go into Viet though.

You should google the bus companies in Cambodia and call to see if any of them travel to Viet.

But yea, Siem Reap all the way to Viet is going to take a long time.....

definite, take the direction : REP-PNH-HCMC-NHA 6 hours from REP to PNH via bus (290km) Then 7 hours from PNH to Ho Chi Minh city via bus with yet another 290km yet takes time via ferry and checking factors on the border. Then from HCMc, you're able to take practice to Nhatrang, 450km, 7-10 hours relies upon on which practice you're taking and that's a lot safer than via bus. bear in techniques, no visa upon arrival in Vietnam. Have a helpful trip :)
