I still don't get the deal with the visa to Vietnam?

I'm an american. I'll be traveling to VN in March. I still don't get the deal with the visa. do I have to get it through the embassy beforehand or can i get it cheaper online and pick it up at the airport? I saw this website that says u can pay just $35: http://www.vietnambeachshow.com/visa-to-vietnam/ is it a scam or the real deal?

    you can get visa online or you can ask a travel agent to make it for you. The cost is $25/pp.
