I got my CNA license but no one hires without experience. How do i get my foot in the door?

I wanted to volunteer at a hospital to get CNA experience but i spoke with a nurse and she said its a liability to the hospital so i wouldn't be able to volunteer as a CNA.

Update:

I've tried applying at nursing homes but they want you to have experience. I'm looking in aurora colorado.

Try to work at a nursing home first.

    That's usually where CNA's start.

Make sure to take extra care of the older patients, because believe it or not, people watch that stuff. (Not to mention, it's not nice to neglect older people or take advantage of them)

After about a year or so working at a nursing home, or even 6 months, try to apply for a job at a hospital!

    Good luck!
