What is the meaning of Related Crew Skills in SWTOR Crafting? (Star Wars The Old Republic)?

Hi, Related Skills are crew skills that rely on each other in order for you to accomplish its full effect. There are 3 kinds of Crew Skills in game (you will acquire them once you start venturing on your own ship)

-Mission Skills

-Gathering skills

-Crafting Skills

Have you met any companions yet? In time, you will meet companions that will help you along the game. These companions can be sent to do those Crew Skill that I listed above. For example, you can send your companion to gather some materials for you so that you can craft a new item...

Now there are specific items that you will get from gathering / missions. For example, the Gathering Skill called Treasure Hunting can bring you the item Gemstone, which you can use to make Force-based weapon through the Crafting Skill called Artifice

Treasure Hunt {Gathering Skill) --> Gemstone --> Artifice (Crafting Skill) ==> Force Weapon

So in this case, Treasure Hunt and Artifice is Related!

Treasure Hunt Supports Artifice and Artifice is Reliant on Treasure Hunting

4 Gathering, 6 Crafting, 4 Mission skills. You can pick 1 crafting skill max. Each crafting skill has an optimal gathering and mission skill associated with it, but nothing stops you from picking whatever you want from the other two types.
