How to improve my skin routine (and what's yours?)?
So I need some help I think. I feel like I'm not doing enough to cleanse my skin. I'm 21, and I've got blackheads on my nose, kind of large pores around my nose, and acne scarring on my lower cheeks which is fading. I don't really break out anymore.
Here's my routine:
MORNING
Rinse my face with water in the shower (which is pretty hot) then apply Cetaphil moisturizer while my face is still damp. I KNOW I should use sunscreen but I always forget.
NIGHT
I usually just wash my face with warm water and wipe of my makeup with a tissue, then dampen my face again and use the Cetaphil again.
About twice a week I use that St Ives exfoliator lotion.
For my makeup, I use two Covergirl products: Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder and Invisible Concealer for really red/dark spots. I try to drink as much water as I can and to eat more healthily.
Is this a good routine? Should I update it? And what's yours, like which products do you use etc?

It sounds like you have a pretty good basic routine. Blackheads can be such a pain to get rid of. I recommend using a purifying mask once or twice a week. Any kind of mud or mint mask should really help draw out those impurities in the skin.
For your night routine I just recommend really making sure that you're getting all of the makeup off your face. It can really settle into your pores and even though your face may appear clean you might still have product on. I'd recommend an astringent, just use a bit on a cotton pad at night. Just be careful not to use it too often because it can dry out your skin, but it really gets every last bit of makeup off.
If you're willing to spend a little bit I'd recommend a Clarsonic or something like the Neutogena Wave (which is much more affordable).

first you should stop cleaning your face with hot water and use cold water instead. the sunscreen is a must that you should not forget if you want to have a pure face. you should also choose the makeup which is oil free especially the foundation. moreover, you can apply natural masks each to weeks that works on moisturizing and cleansing your skin

I use a toner after washing my face, before putting the moiturizer on. It get all of the exess residue from makeup, face wash and anything else off your face, and it initiates cell turn-over to progressively even out your skin tone with daily use. I like the clinique toners.
