Valentine's gifts ideas?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over a year so this is our second valentines day. Last year I made him chocolate covered oreos with hearts on them and a giant heart choc chip cookie. I'm not sure what to get him this year for valentine's day. Our relationship is pretty serious, but I don't want to get him anything expensive since it's just valentines day. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

-Buy a cheap plain coffee mug, paint his name/your name or a nice message or hearts on it and fill with their favourite candy.
-Get some fun coloured cardboard and make a big home-made Valentines card, then fill the envelope with his favourite candy.
-Buy some strawberries, clean them (leave the stalk bit on) and half dip them in melted chocolate, then pop in the fridge to get that crunchy choc coating.
-Invest in some cheap love heart or cupid shaped silicon ice-cube/jelly moulds and make some simple homemade desserts for your loved on out of jelly, melted chocolate (and then put in the fridge to set), or home-made cookies. You can even wrap them up in some cellophane and sneak them into their handbag/briefcase/coat pocket as a surprise snack for them to find
-make a voucher booklet of I Owe You's with naughty or nice treats that they can claim when they want to. Offer whatever treats you fancy - foot rub, back massage, doing their chores for a week etc. Or leave love letters under their pillow, in their pockets, or make their lunch and write something nice on the wrapping.
-home-made jewellery - pop into your local bead shop and grab some beads, string, leather, twine etc and make wrist bands, bracelets, ankletes, necklaces, earrings or the whole set!
-home made bouquet of lollypops, or bake biscuits on sticks and create a bouquet out of that
-pack a surprise picnic and pop down to the local park/botanic garden/beach with a picnic rug
-Make them some Origami Hearts and flowers and a card.
-Get arts and crafty with some small photos or the two of you, stick onto cardboard or tiles and laminate (or just use packing tape) them: you can make bookmarks, coasters, decorations etc
-If youre super creative - write them a poem, or some lyrics, or a song on whatever instrument you play

some years in the past I shocked my boyfriend (now fiance) with a valentines day scavenger hunt of types. He knew i replaced into coming over to make dinner, yet I set it up interior the residing room and hid interior the kitchen. I left a word on the door so he might see it while he walked in, and it mentioned, circulate to the table. on the table, I had left a word that mentioned gentle the candles and turn on the stereo and press play. After that, it mentioned circulate to the workplace. He went in there and there replaced right into a field of his fav candy and a word that mentioned circulate into the washing room. I left rose petals and bubble tub in there and a word that mentioned circulate into the mattress room. greater rose petals and a single rose and a word that mentioned circulate returned to dinner. whilst he replaced into wandering interior the direction of the residing house, I set dinner on the table, introduced out champagne, and got here out of hiding. The track I had queued up on the stereo (burned DVD) replaced into kiss me, and that i replaced into protecting a word that mentioned "Kiss Me?" for while he back to the table. He replaced into completely shocked, and besides the reality that it took a whilst to establish, it replaced into quite much less extreme priced and the main memorable valentines day to this point for us!
